CHAPTER 69. FORCED

"Mercy, sir, I didn't mean to disobey your orders, I didn't dare." Roy bowed, showing his respect.

"Then?"

"I'm just relaying what Alex said, sir."

"So, you're more obedient to Alex than to me!" Ernest felt offended now.

"No, sir. Of course, I obey whatever you say." Roy put his palms together.

"Then go see Alex, ask him to come to me. However, I would be more proud if you managed to persuade Alex to return." Ernest's words were very firm. Of course, he would miss it if Alex had to leave the organization he headed.

"Yes, sir, I will do as you say." Finally, Roy couldn't argue anymore. Even though he was forced to, Roy still had to meet Alex. It was to save his good name in front of Ernest.

"Go, I'm waiting for good news from you. The sooner the better!" After ordering so, Ernest turned his back on Roy, as if he wanted the man to disappear from his sight immediately.

"Yes, sir, I'll excuse myself."

Ernest only cleared his throat in response to Roy's sentence. And with that Roy withdrew
