Jayden and Hayden woke up blinking up at me at the sound of my voice like they were still trying to come back to this reality as I opened up the curtain, letting the sun rays penetrate.

"Hey Mom," they both said simultaneously, each scratching their eyes as they stretched.

"Hey, kiddos." I smiled, going over to each of their beds and kissing each of them on their forehead.

"How did you sleep?" I asked, plopping down on Hayden's bed.

"Someone was playing with their tablet throughout last night, huh?" I asked as I tickled Hayden.

"It was one game, Mommy." Hayden giggled uncontrollably until I stopped.

"It's fine, I forgive you." I smiled down at him. "But only this time. The next time you stay up past your bedtime, I'll take away your tablets for a week."
