16 It smells death

It was finally the end of the day and she rested her body at the single bed she has been using for almost two years since she rented out this small room. The toll on using the clutches and exercising effort to limp as she walks, she finally closed her eyes.

Suddenly woke up, she didn't know when or how many minutes had passed as she fell asleep, she quickly got up and grabbed her phone. There were several missed calls from an unknown number, and ten messages. She thought that it must have been her step mother and decided to check it later. Scrolling up her contacts, she pressed the call button.
