Nick's POV
“It's Miranda, and you know very well why she would be after you,” I said to Kyle while locking eyes with her.
It seems my words had more effect on Kyle than I anticipated as she looked like someone who has just been thrown into outta space. The mention of the name Miranda has always had the type of effect on the people of our pack. People back at the pack dreaded her name like a plague and the reason is not far-fetched. But I use to think that Miranda and Kyle were friends or that they had some sort of understanding.
“You never got to tell me why you left the packhouse and what you were doing at the spot you found me?” I said to Kyle, who seem lost in thought.
I figured there has to be a reason as to why Miranda is all out to get her. If Miranda in any way bought kyle's story of being Richards' mate, then Miranda won't stop till she has seen gotten hold of her.
