Immediately he saw the stick coming his way, he moved aside as he pushed Ariana aside too, causing the stick to fall to the ground, no one harmed.

“Stay behind me Ariana, everything will be fine.” He told her and she swallowed as she nodded at him.

The one who seemed to be the leader chuckled loudly as he walked to where Raymond was. “You’re very handsome, rich, dashing. You have everything you could ever want so save yourself now, it’s not worth dying for a woman who will still be taken away.” He said and Raymond clenched his fists as he raised his head to the man.

“She’s not just any woman, she is the one I love and of dying for her will be one thing I would do for her, I’d do it, well.” He said and with that, he snapped the knife out of the man’s hand as he passed it to Ariana. “Run for your life Ariana, don’t look back. Just use it should the need come up.” He told her and she shook her head.
