Chapter forty four

I could see him heave a sigh of relief the moment I dropped the whip.

“Pl..please don’t kill him” she muttered weakly with her eyes closed and I could see that she was trying her best to stay conscious but of what she was it?

I stared at Dave, the fact that she had pleaded for me not to kill him didn’t reduce the hatred that I felt for him in any way. I bent as I dragged him up by the throat, “can you see? Can you be ashamed of yourself now?” I asked him as he struggled weakly to breathe.

As it was, I’d already beaten the hell out of him and he was trying his best to stay alive and conscious.

“Please let me go!” He said as he gasped for breath but I didn’t give a damn about it, he could die for all I cared.

“You have being saved by her this time but don’t think this is our last encounter because the next time I come across you, in the road, in the market or anywhere, it’ll be your end” I told him as I pushed him away before going to Ariana.
