Chapter 37.1
The movie started rolling on the big screen.
Aleister leans closer to Madison and whispers, “We should have grabbed some popcorns.” Madison slaps his arm which made him quiet.
The movie started like an ordinary film. The opening credits and names of the film studios, the cast names as well as the director’s name appeared in the beginning. Suddenly, a glitching occurred. After a few seconds, a CCTV footage clip was shown. The angle of the camera is far and the surroundings is dark. In the footage, there are two shadows of a person. Suddenly, one of the shadows attacked the other person, it was a footage of Mallory biting a mortal, but because of the darkness her face wasn’t show clearly.
“What’s going on? This not the movie.” The confused director said, who was sitting in front of Madison and Aleister. Aleister leans forward and whisppers on the ears of the director.
“Just relax director, and enjoy the show.”

After two weeks since the premiere, Mallory was nowhere to be found. Madison has been staying in Aleister’s new bought penthouse apartment after their own apartments was found by the fans and reporters. Madison’s father went back to the countryside and some werewolves just went with him for security. Aleister is sitting on the couch watching television while Madison is getting dressed and preparing to leave. Madison comes out of her room and watches the news on the television. “What are the plans of the police for the case of Mallory?” “Honestly, this is confusing for the whole government. The current situation is really unbelievable until now, and we don’t really know how to deal with this. I mean, vampire and werewolves suddenly came out of no where and this is something that we are not prepared for. “I am a businessman and not a doctor. If lives and patients matter to all of you, well mine is different. Revenue, money, income and the hospital’s standing... those are everything that matter to me. So, why would I fire someone who can bring me a huge revenue all by herself? I wouldn’t risk losing seventeen percent of income; thus, I am not losing Madison. I will agree to fire her, only if all of you, individually, earns an income like hers. As for your worries about the patients, let me assure you that she will not be a threat. Anyone who is near the death’s door will be willing to get treated even by a witch doctor or a werewolf, for that matter. Besides, doctor Madison is not the only werewolf or vampire or whatever, in this world. Who knows? Half or maybe more of our employees are one too? I can be one, or you could be one. Two days later, Madison went back to work at the hospital. The first few hours didn’t become easy for her as her co-workers and other people are avoiding her. Some patients are declining to be treated by her. “No! Give me another doctor! I don’t want this monster touching me!” yelled by one of the patients. Another doctor came to check the patients. Doctor Kevin approached Madison and tapped her on the shoulders. “Madison, I think you should take some rest first. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it.” Madison walked away and went to the lounge area. As soon as she closed the door, she leans on it and burst out crying. She walked to the sofa and cried. She felt helpless about the situation. Although, she understands their reaction but she can’t avoid feeling sad and discouraged. After few minutes, the door opened and Madison quickly wiped her tears. She looks up and saw the new CEO of the hospital. She stands up and greeted him.

After her shift end, she was preparing to leave when doctor Kevin approached her. “Madison, are you alright?” Madison smiled at him while he taps her shoulders. “I felt better after shouting that inside the emergency room,” she jokingly said which made both them chuckle. “Just be little more patient with our co-workers. Let’s wait for them to fully adjust. It also not that easy to process everything. You know, it’s out of the ordinary.” “I know and I understand. Two years passed, and everything is back to normal. Madison reconciled with her friends and co-workers. They surprised her during her surprise birthday party that was organized by Aleister. Her father is still staying in the countryside, and she visits him from time to time. Madison is still a surgeon and is still the werewolf Luna. Meanwhile, Aleister is doing his job as the vampire leader and he started taking over his family’s business. Most importantly, Mallory is still unfound. “Code blue! Code blue!” yelled by a nurse inside the emergency room. Josh, who is now a resident, came and attended on a patient. “The vitals are unstable. It looks like he needs a bypass but doctor Kevin is not here. There’s no doctor available—” “I’ll do it.
