Mercer glared at Calla and snapped, "One of my business partners asked me if I'm underpaying my stylist."

Calla couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter.

Mercer frowned. His features were twisted, and he looked extremely uncomfortable as he demanded, "Why are you laughing?"

It was the first time Calla had seen him like that. She was scared that she had genuinely pissed him off. Thus, she bit back her giggles.

"Your outfit today is a little colorful, but it's not ugly at all. It just doesn't match your vibe. I bought all of those pieces for you to wear with your black suits.

Look, this sky blue shirt would look great with your black jacket, and the red tie would stand out against your black shirt. The grey jacket would smoothen your edges when paired with a white shirt."

Mercer seemed to have accepted Calla's explanation. He even walked to the mirror and held the clothes up to check how her suggestions would look.
