Chapter 55

Late into the night, Mrs Carter had sent out another email requesting the presence of Kelly, Dave, and Leslie for another meeting. It was so late into the night when Jane had given her an answer, hence the message was sent late and consequently every took note of it only in the early hours of morning.

‘’The contract signing has to be on another day, why does Mrs. Carter want to meet with us so suddenly?’’ Leslie asked Dave, leaning in his embrace. It was still early for her to start preparing.

‘’Maybe she wants to do things fast, also didn't my sister hand over some other models to her yesterday? She might have made her decision. Just don't overthink issues. Jane would be returning home by nightfall and this contract would be yours’’

Dave gently kissed Leslie. He had already made sure there was an available flight for Jane to leave. He did not want to take the chance of her staying behind and scheming behind their backs. It was 5 am and he dialed her number. When the phone rang Dam
