Still in pain

I grabbed the guard's left hand and twisted it behind his back. He winced in pain as his bone snapped. He growled and threw a jaw punch at me but I deflected it with my elbow.

"That's too slow and weak," I said, scoffed, and pushed his hand away. He bowed his head and stepped aside.

"I'll work on that next time, Master," he said, and I nodded my head gently.

"You'd better improve your skills and physique because I won't hesitate to break your arm if you make any silly mistake next time," I said as I pulled off the glove from my hand.

I reached out to the bottle of water beside me, opened the bottle sleeve, and drank it in a single gulp. I breathed out in relief and sat down on the bench behind me.

I took a deep breath as one of the guards wiped the sweat on my face with a clean white towel. He bowed his head, stepped aside, and stood beside me.
