The Sad Demise

[N.B: This is what happened to Ryan six months before he died]

I shook my head with a sad look on my face as I walked out of her room. "Get out," she screamed at me, breaking my heart into shreds.

Her voice was filled with hatred and anger. Her face wasn't as nice and accommodating as it used to be.

She wasn't the same loving and caring mate that I married. She had changed drastically due to the mistake that I made.

I wish I didn't kill her parents back then. But how am I going to know that they were her lost, gone parents?

I slumped hard on the floor before the door with tears building in the corner of my eyes.

I jerked up from the cold floor and ran into my room. I slammed the door shut and slumped hard on the sofa. I stood up from the chair and reached out to the liquor in the cabinet.
