The conflicted feeling

"What!"

"Are you sure of what you're saying?"I asked with a cold look on my face, and she nodded her head affirmatively.

"Yes, my lady. I wouldn't dare lie to you,"she said, and I gulped down into nothing.

"But he was in my room earlier, right?"I asked myself as I placed my hand on my clenched jaw.

"I didn't see the Alpha in your room,"

"I noticed his presence in your chamber but I couldn't find him. It seems he left,"she said, and somehow I felt my heart shattered into pieces.

"He left even though I told him not to,"I muttered with a sad look on my face.

It's really heartbreaking and sad knowing that he left me without any notice. I can't deny the sadness that gripped my heart when I realized that he left my room.

I was a fool to think that he's going to obey and obliges to my word like I used to his command. Maybe he left because he didn't find me important.

It's really bad knowing that my mate didn't regard me. I never knew it hurt to be disregarded until now.
