The disturbed feeling

"Why haven't you come, Ryan?"I asked as I stared outside the window which was dark with few pedestrians passing through the busy road.

I glanced at the window with keen interest, trying to get a glimpse of Ryan's car.

I shook my head with a sigh since I couldn't get a glimpse of his cars. I let out an exasperated sigh, and closed the window since I'm beginning to catch cold.

I returned back to the bed, turned off the modern lamp, and climbed on the bed. I slumped hard on the bed, grabbed the blanket, and covered my body with it so I won't catch a cold.

Even though I tried to sleep and act like nothing is wrong, I can't stop being worried about Ryan. He hadn't done such a thing before. He hasn't returned back from the so-called work he went to by now.

I wonder what he went there to do.

I closed my eyes as I pushed the thoughts away from my head, trying not to be worried about him even though my heart kept beating rapidly.

My eyelids shut close, and drifted off to sleep.
