Turning the Alpha on

Natalie

I woke up with a blurry vision. My eyes are red, and swollen. My head banged with a pang of pain. I looked up as the ray of sun cast from the sky, piercing into my eyes through the thick curtain.

I rubbed my heavy palm on my swollen eyes. I let out a soft sigh as the breeze brushed my skin. I spread my arm widely, inhaling the vanilla and cinnamon scent of the room.

I gasped out in shock as reality hit me. Where am I? I asked myself as I found myself in a completely different and familiar room.

My face fell in disappointment and sadness as I realized where I'm.

Oh no! This shouldn't be happening. I shouldn't be here. Why? I'm back to the room that I have been trying to avoid for years.

I'm shocked, disappointed, sad and surprised to find myself in the room and house that I never wish to find myself in.

The room is dark and filled with a lot of graphic design on the wall. It has a thick red curtain on each of the windows in the room. It is a spacious room with a nice and perfect scent but it wouldn't quench the anger and pain that burned in my mind.

I stood up from the bed with my heart beating heavily against its cage. He caught me. I'm back to his forbidden pack again.

Oh, no! I can't possibly be with him. What am I going to do? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.

I rushed toward the door not minding my clothes which looked tattered and unkempt. What matters right now is to get out of this god-damned place.

I gasped out in shock as I discovered that the door of the room was locked.

I shook the knob of the door vigorously and furiously with a glimpse of fear in my eyes, but it wasn't opening. I tried all I could do just to get out of the room, but all to avail.

I hit the door with a weak and fainted look on my face. I slumped hard on the floor with a loud thud. I let out a soft groan, clenched the hem of the clothes to my chest with a sad look on my face. I turned back, and stared at the room for a while.

I really want to leave this room, this pack and run away from him, Alpha Ryan. Everything about this place keeps bringing bad and painful memories

I shattered my hair angrily with a glimpse of pain in my eyes as the memories of what happened in the past slowly crept into my head.

I wish I could stop the memory from replaying in my head because it makes me sad and despise the Alpha the more. I hate him.

He has caused so much pain in my life. I was adopted by his older sister who was my foster mother. She takes me as her child, and I appreciate her for that. She's really nice and accommodating.

Things were nice in the family until she revealed to me at my eighteen birthday that she wasn't my mother— that she doesn't know if my parents were dead.

He's the reason why my foster mother died. He killed her. She told me the reason before she died. She told me to run away from the Alpha that he wanted to make me his woman even though we've been regarded as siblings but he wasn't ready to listen.

He was adamant to catch me but I was able to escape for a few years even though I'm back to his place again.

"I'm sorry Jessica for not making my promise. I promised… to run away from him… but he has to bring me back to the pack. How am I going to escape this? Please help me…"I muttered with tears rolled down from my eyes, staring at the blank space.

I snapped my head up with my heart beating heavily as the door broke open. I gasped out in shock, and shivered in fear as I stared at the person standing at the doorstep. It was the Alpha.

He had a mischievous and vicious smile on his face as he walked toward me with his hand tucked into his pockets. He's perfectly dressed in a black leather jacket and a black jeans.

"What do you want…"I stammered in fear, staring at the angry look on his face.

He smiled gently as he caressed his chin. He squatted low before me with a blank expression

"I don't need anything else but you… I have money and properties… I'm going to take care of you,"he said with a proud smile, and I scoffed inwardly.

I looked around, averting his gaze which was piercing into my eyes. I let out a sigh of relief as he suddenly stood up from the floor with a smile beaming on his face.

"I once said that I'm going to have you in my room for both of us to talk even if you run for a hundred years. Now my wish has been fulfilled,"he said with a satisfied look on his face.

I looked at him with anger and disgust, wishing I could just kill him. His statements infuriate and irritate me even though his voice sounds so cute to be real.

"I don't care. I'm going to make sure I find evidence to expose you to the whole world that you're a murderer who looks like his sister…"

I choked on my words as he threw a deadly glare at me.

I looked in the right direction, averting his cold and angry gaze. I'm angry and pissed the same way he is.

"It has only been two years we've seen each other and you look exceptionally beautiful and more pleasing to me. I can't wait to have you to myself,"he said with a smirk.

Have me to himself? My heart skipped as I watched the smirk on his face. He looks so determined.

"I would rather die than marry you,"I sneered at him.

"Is that so?"I gulped down the whole saliva in my throat, with my heart beating heavily as he walked toward me with a sly and naughty smile on his face.

I winced in pain as my back hit the wall behind me. I tried to move away before he could get me, but it was too late as he caged me to the wall with his two hands beside me.

"Your arrogance puts me in the mood, and I love it. It turns me on,"he said as he licked his lips seductively while leaning his head forward with his hand close to my breast.

What!

What is he trying to do?
