Quianna’s POV
We are still here in the car driving on the way towards my house, Austin picked me up from Dylan’s house and it turns out, that Dylan came from another world. He wanted me to stop investigating and I looked at Austin who was driving, should I tell him that Aina would die if we continued this crazy investigation? I called the number that kept on messaging me, someone answered but it was just held on, no one was speaking and ended the call without me getting any useful information.
"No, because it is passed midnight." he suddenly said.
“What do you mean?” I asked to him and he parked the car at the side road and looked at me.
“I also tried that thing, calling the number that was messaging me. It came through when I called during the day but when I tried calling it after midnight, the call is restricted. The number is not working anymore.” He explained to me.
“So are you saying that we can
(Quianna)I am still here at the building and currently looking around aside from the fact that people are now having their shifting rotations. It was already past two in the morning but I still have no plan of leaving without having concrete answers for my questions. I looked around to the things they are doing and of course, being a woman who got no interests in science or anything, would not understand the purpose and meaning of those symbols written on the whiteboard, and they were constantly being erased by the people here. And I just can't understand Mr. Lee's answer earlier, how could time paradox is not a thing and why I can't change the situation? If it does not affect the past and the future, then changing something would also not create any differences to any of those."Yana, are you not going home?" Mr. Lee asked to me and I stare on everything first before making any decision."Tell me, did Aina know about this?" I asked to
(Quianna) The next day came and I decided to walk and look around the whole house. Looking back, those people coming from the another parallel world, went here and killed mom. They think something is going on in this house, and this place must have some sort of a secret that they need to acquire before anyone else, or before me getting it. I firstly entered the master's bedroom, I think my room would be empty and out of the options as I do not have any knowledge--- or should I think reversely? I stopped in front of the master's bedroom, I was about to grab the doorknob when I realized it. I walked backwards and went back to my bedroom, if my dad would put something important in this house, he would have put it in my room- the place where people would not think of. I entered and I looked around, I know every part of it but I do not know where to start. I saw my desk, it has a lot of drawers and spaces to keep something. But what in the hell am I lo
(Quianna)We are now here at the meeting room and I am with three guys, Austin, Aaron and Jason. Austin is sitting beside me and his aura is screaming superiority when he and Aaron I think do have the same position. Jason, who is the only one standing up was at the podium and by the projector looks like he is the one who will brief us up about the case. And I am just here eating the biscuits in here as I did not have the chance to grab some bite before I went here earlier. I saw Austin is stirring something and he suddenly gave me the cup he is holding, I looked at it and he made me a cup of coffee. I accepted it and drink a bit of it before the meeting started."Today I am going to explain the case of the culprit of the terror attack." Jason started and we all started to listening. He flashed the next slide of the presentation."His name is Robby Cana, a janitor working for the electronics company. He has no family and an orphaned since he was five
Quianna’s POVAustin drove the three of us towards my house. Aina is already with us and we decided to go to Austin’s house to start officially the investigation. But, I told them that I need to drop by in the house as I need to get things that I might be needing during the investigation. I just remembered the flash drive I am looking at before Austin arrived at the house, I still have not seen the content, I have no idea what was in there and I think all of us should now see and know everything. Now, I do not have the time to think who are the persons I would trust or befriended with, I just wanted to solve and put everything in the right places. After some minutes of driving, we arrived at the house. I quickly get off as soon as he parked the car in front of the house and I saw the two of them also get off and followed me in. I opened the gate and the three of us quickly entered the main door, but I felt something is wrong, the doorknob has been left the
Quianna’s POVWe now arrived at Austin’s house, we entered inside the house and it looks normal and simple to me, the interior is all white and black, it has a nice ambiance to look at. Aina and I sat on the couch here at the living room, it was an automatic response when you went in an unfamiliar place. Austin walked towards the other side and I guess that is the kitchen area, he went out holding cans of drinks. I looked on it and I chuckles when I saw it was a carbonated drink, he put it on the table and he even get some biscuits from a container.“Sorry, I did not expect that someone would go here.” He said and I nodded.“It is alright, you offered and we do not have the right to complain.” Aina answered and I looked on her, she sounds too sarcastic that I just slightly hit her hand.“We could just order some food to eat.” I said and smiled.“Right, what do you want to eat? I could just call
Quianna’s POVAustin, Aina and I were still here at Austin’s house, we already finished eating and currently researching about the Sekai organization. I do not have the reason why, but Austin has a lot of papers and documents here in his house and we are currently reading those one by one. My eyes hurt and when I looked around, Aina is already sleeping, and Austin is still reading each paper he got on his hand. I put down the pile of paper on the table and stood up, I started stretching a bit and walking around the living room, looking at some stuffs he got in here, he got some picture frames, his photo when he graduated the police university and even when he got promoted.I went by the window and looked out from it, he got no other view here but houses and building stood to each other. I see nothing but closed walls and cramped spaces, it looks somewhat suffocating to me. I went back to the couch where I am sitting and Austin is still reading in the same p
Quianna’s POVThe next day came and it was indeed a beautiful night had been, I woke up seeing Austin’s face next to me. I did not expect that this day would come that I would be sleeping next to man that I know that will help me and would not betray me no matter what happen. Of course, I might now want to admit but this guy already took a space in my heart, I saw how he cares about me and I knew how much he wanted to solve this case, as mine. But, on the other side of love is worrying, now that he is officially connected to me, he might also be the target of my foes that I do not know and see their identities.I let out a deep sigh and turned my back from him, I do not want to wake him up with my loud sighs, that would also make him feel concern about me. But instead of me staring on somewhere blankly, I felt his arms wrapped around my waist. I do not know how to react, should I remove it as maybe he did it while sleeping or should I just let him do it?
Quianna’s POVUpon seeing those police people running inside the building where Austin’s apartment is located, we quickly run towards the backdoor of the place. I know that even we go here, there might be police members waiting for us to exit from this door. But we have no other choice, this is the only place we could go and just for us to test our luck. I looked on Aina is she is running the same pace as mine, Austin is running ahead and we arrived in front of the backdoor. Austin looked back on us and I glanced on Aina go them a determined nod.Austin opened the door and peeked before we finally went out, his hand signaled us in rush and we quickly went out. I looked around and surprisingly enough, no one is here, instead one car is waiting for us outside and when I looked on the driver’s seat, I am seeing a familiar person sitting in there- it was Aaron.“Shit.” I heard Austin mumbled and I just looked on him, not asking the reas
