The next day, Yuri woke up and found that her body was only covered with a cloak.
“Oh my god!”
She hugged herself and looked at North, only to see Mikhail holding her clothes.
The man, who washed her clothes, blinked his eyes while looking at her.
“W-What did you do? D-Did you just take off my clothes?” Yuri asked in a bewildered voice.
With a calm demeanor, Mikhail explained, "Your clothes were dirty and wet."
Yuri was taken aback and protested, "But it's not appropriate for a man like you to remove my clothes without my consent."
Mikhail's gaze lingered on her body, making Yuri feel self-conscious and embarrassed.
“W-What?” she asked.
“Your body is different from mine,” he said.
“Huh?”
“So different,” he added, hanging her clothes on a tall rock.
Yuri was perplexed by Mikhail's assertion that his body was dissimilar to hers. While it is widely accepted that men and women possess distinct physical characteristics, it appeared that Mikhail had only recently come to this realization.
“I am a female human,” she uttered.
“I know,” he said without looking back at her.
“If you knew, why were you surprised that we look so different? Well, aside from the fact that you don’t look like a pure human at all.”
Mikhail stared at her and answered, “It’s my first time seeing a woman.”
Yuri was really curious how this man really lived so far. He seemed so innocent and curious about many things.
‘He also knew my language,’ Yuri thought.
“We’re near the Ever-Green Pack. Wear your clothes once they are dried, and we’ll continue to walk,” Mikhail informed.
Shortly thereafter, once Yuri's garments had fully dried, she donned them once more. Without hesitation, Mikhail hoisted her up onto his back once again.
“I can walk on my own,” Yuri said.
Mikhail shook his head.
“No. Your ankle is still not good.”
Yuri glanced down at her ankle, which was swathed in a makeshift bandage fashioned from a scrap of Mikhail's clothing.
As she did so, a niggling thought occurred to her: ‘Wasn't Mikhail who had been injured the first time we crossed paths?’
She couldn't help but wonder what had become of his wounds.
‘How did he seem to be walking without any difficulty now?’
“What about your injury then?” she asked, leaning closer to his ear.
Turning red, Mikhail stopped walking for a moment. He took a deep breath, taking a moment to collect himself before forging ahead.
“My body is quick to recover from injuries. It heals faster than humans,” he explained.
Yuri was utterly astonished. She had always believed that such stories only existed in the pages of fantasy books.
"Can you tell me how you sustained those injuries? Did someone assault you?" she inquired once more.
Driven by her curiosity, Yuri leaned in closer, hoping to catch a glimpse of Mikhail's face. However, her movement behind him only made things worse for him. With each passing moment, he could feel her bre*sts pressing against his back, causing him to endure even more discomfort – It was a feeling he had for the first time.
“Why are you not answering? You do have many secrets, do you?” Yuri uttered.
Mikhail gulped and said, “Wild beasts attacked me in the forest. But that’s normal for me.”
Yuri felt a twinge of pity for Mikhail.
She struggled to comprehend his identity and why he roamed the forest alone.
However, she empathized with the torment of enduring hardships in a cruel world. Yuri knew all too well the struggles of surviving a miserable life.
Wordless, Yuri once peeked at Mikhail’s face.
Chase was handsome, but he was gorgeous by human standards. He had the looks, stature, and lean body everyone might have thought he was a movie star.
But Mikhail was unrealistically handsome. Maybe because of the light color of his hair?
Mikhail seemed as tall as Chase, and he had a slender body line at first glance, but as she was being carried by him now, she found that he was pretty muscular.
‘Now that I observe his body, his shoulders are broad.’
Curious about his body size, Yuri embraced him tightly.
“Nyil…!”
“Ahhh!”
As soon as she wrapped her arms around him, Mikhail suddenly let go of her in surprise!
Yuri fell to the ground, wincing. She looked up and saw Mikhail’s face turning red.
“Nyil ijo qae vaufx!” he gasped in an unrecognizable language.
Confused about why he suddenly got mad, Yuri asked, “What’s wrong? What did I do?”
“Your body,” he said. “It’s different. I am not accustomed to having contact with it.”
With a frown, Yuri responded, “Shouldn’t you be more embarrassed when you kissed me before?”
“Kiss?”
“Yes. Kiss. When you put your lips on me while giving me the medicine.”
Mikhail looked downward as if thinking hard.
“Don’t tell me that was your first kiss?” she asked.
Mikhail looked back at her, a hint of embarrassment on his face. "Well, it was my first kiss to a female," he admitted.
Yuri's amusement grew. "So, you've kissed a guy before?" she teased.
Mikhail shook his head. "No, I haven't," he replied, his discomfort evident.
Yuri couldn't resist pushing further. "Then what's the big deal?" she prodded.
Mikhail sighed, feeling a bit frustrated. "I don't know, it just felt weird,"
Yuri pursed her lips and decided to listen more.
“When I'm near you, my heart races with excitement. Normally, we don't like humans, but your scent is so pleasant. And your body gives me a strange sensation that I can't explain,” Mikhail explained.
The expression on his face looked like he was really mesmerized by her.
‘Is it because this is the first time he sees a female?’ Yuri wondered.
Flashing a mischievous grin, she teased him, asking, "What's this weird feeling you're getting?"
“This and that. It’s weird.”
"Could you elaborate on that?" she inquired.
With a solemn expression, Mikhail lowered himself to her level and locked eyes with her. "When you're near me, I feel an irresistible urge to draw you in and taste you."
Yuri's playful grin faded as she realized the tables had turned. What started as harmless teasing had now transformed into a seductive encounter with Mikhail taking the lead.
“Uhmm, excuse me, but I was just wondering... do you eat humans?” she asked, just in case.
Mikhail shook his head. “It’s not like that. I mean, I felt the urge to caress every inch of your body, to taste your sweet skin with my tongue, and to kiss you from head to toe.”
Yuri's heart raced as she felt a heat spreading through her body. Her lower abdomen pulsed with desire.
“I don’t even exactly know why. So, don’t do that again,” he said.
“Do what?”
“Pressing your body closer to mine.”
Yuri was keenly aware of the emotions that were stirring within Mikhail. It was unmistakable - lust and desire for the opposite sex.
However, she was uncertain whether sharing her observations with someone like him was appropriate.
‘After all, he appeared to be more innocent than I had expected,’ she added inside her head.
“Sorry for suddenly letting you go,” he said, offering his hand. “I’ll carry you again. Hold my hand.”
“Mikhail.”
“Hmm?”
“If you want to know more about those feelings, I can help you.”
“Mikhail.”“Hmm?”“If you want to know more about those feelings, I can help you.”It was a stake. Yuri didn’t even know why she was offering this to Mikhail. But he saved her life and comforted her unknowingly when she gave up living.Chase will marry someone else and take his soon-to-be bride to bed. Yuri thought there was nothing wrong with having a relationship with another man. At the back of her head, she wanted to take revenge on Chase.‘If he has another woman, why can’t I have another man too?’ she thought.Mikhail doesn’t seem like a human. Nonetheless, Yuri doesn’t see a problem with that at all. He’s handsome, and he seemed kind.‘Perhaps it will be worth it to give my body to a man like him,’ a desperate thought of a brokenhearted woman.“Are you telling me you will allow me to do everything I want with you?” Mikhail asked. With her heart beating so fast, Yuri nodded.Mikhail gazed deeply into her luscious, rounded eyes and saw his own reflection staring back at him.Is t
Yuri’s POV There were times when I did not even think that my love for Chase would come true. I liked that Chase at least felt sexually attracted to me. And I had a wrong impression that the act of pouring into me was Chase's uncontrollable passion for love. There was enough pleasure in forcing myself to fit in with Chase’s tendency to enjoy rough relationships, and I really believed that it was the type of love I would achieve. ‘He loved me so much that’s why he could not control his rough desire,’ I was drowned into such belief. But when Mikhail kissed me, I realized that such desperate feelings aren’t always needed to feel pleasure. And that’s why I failed to control my emotions and burst out. It wasn’t because I felt guilty for kissing Mikhail. It was because of the realization his kiss brought me. “W-Why…Why are you crying?” Mikhail asked as I sobbed uncontrollably. I could not answer. Words caught in my throat. “I am sorry,” he apologized blindly. “I must have done some
Yuri’s POV“What are you, Mikhail?”“I am a werewolf.” The “Hidden Greenery” sure holds the biggest secret in the world.I looked at the man who claimed to be a beast – something I only heard from my friends who lived with their fantasies in books.Never did I try reading a werewolf story because I never believed they existed, nor did I want to convince myself of it? But here I am, sitting before an open book of mystery.“Don’t tell me you’ll be taking me to the Pack because I’ll be eaten?” I managed to crack a joke to hide my bewilderment.“We don’t eat humans,” Mikhail said. “If we do, then I should have eaten you before. Because you tasted so sweet, Yuri.”The smile on my lips vanished. This man perhaps did not know he was a female swooner. He looks innocent but dangerously sensual because of his sincerity.I forged a cough and looked away from this beast.“I did not cry because you did something wrong,” I confessed. “It was only because I remembered bad memories of Chase. That’s
Mikhail’s POV I am a lone wolf, banished from the Ever-Green Pack. I roam the forest, a solitary figure in the moonlight. My curse is a burden I bear alone, bestowed upon me by the Goddess of the Moon at my birth. All the werewolves in the pack knew what my curse was. The curse to kill every she-wolves in the Pack. The Elder, Gregor, told me the story of how the female werewolves began to die one by one after my birth. Even my own mother, who had held me so lovingly in her arms, eventually succumbed to the curse. My father, unable to bear the loss of my mother, grew to despise me. His grief consumed him, and he eventually took his own life. It was then that the Alpha and the Elder made the decision to banish me from the Pack. Once I was gone, the female werewolves barely survived. However, as time passed, they, too, perished until only one remained. The survival of this last she-wolf was crucial, as her death would mean the end of the lineage for everyone in the pack. I had no int
Mikhail’s POV With Gregor's guidance, Yuri and I were ushered to the Alpha’s house. The male werewolves of the Pack kept on following us from behind as if they were looking for an opportunity to snatch Yuri away from me.I was making sure no one touched her, not even the strand of her hair.“Mikhail,” Yuri whispered.I turned to look at her, my eyes scanning her face for any signs of fear or fear. She had displayed a frightened expression earlier when she saw me growl, but now, Yuri seemed to have regained her composure and was no longer wary of me."Where are we going?" she asked.I leaned closer to her, my nostrils flaring as I caught a whiff of her sweet scent. It distracted me for a moment, but I quickly regained my focus and answered her question."To the Alpha's house," I said."Alpha?" Yuri repeated, her brow furrowing in confusion. "I didn't ask you about that. I know the meaning of Alpha in literature, but I have no idea what an Alpha means in werewolves. My friends might kn
Yuri’s POV I was scared the first time I saw Mikhail act like a beast. That was my initial reaction, but later on, I was convinced Mikhail only did that to protect me from the other male werewolves in this Pack. Compared to the others, Mikhail was a cut above the rest. The other werewolves would eye me hungrily as if I were their next meal. So, I could not fathom why they were trying to send him away. Their language was hard to decipher; it did not sound like any language in human society. Nevertheless, I somehow managed to convince the Old man, A.K.A, Elder Gregor, to let Mikhail stay with me. And now, I am inside Alpha’s house with Mikhail. Alpha's house had the appearance of a tree house, much like the ones created by the massive roots of the trees in the village. However, upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the interior was similar to any ordinary human dwelling. To my amazement, this house had electrical machines and even electricity! I noticed a lamp, fa
Mikhail’s POV My perception of Alpha Thunder is quite negative. He has a reputation for being violent and ruthless, and while he may have reservations about killing members of his Pack, he is not one to shy away from using force against those he dislikes. Despite his reluctance to lose more of his people, he is the kind of man who would not hesitate to resort to violence when necessary."Grr, Kill him, Mikhail. We can kill him together," my wolf, Dominic, was urging me to fight back against Thunder. But I hesitated. As a rogue, I was no longer under Alpha Thunder's authority, but I still valued life. If I killed the Alpha, who would protect the Pack? Even though they had kicked me out, I didn't want them to perish. This was my parents' home, after all.But then I saw Thunder approaching Yuri, and my hesitation turned to anger. If he hurt her, I would not hesitate to challenge his power.‘If you lay your finger on her, I swear to kill you, Thunder,’ my wolf vowed as I felt the burnin
Yuri’s POV "We only need to hold something from her.""And what might that be?""Her babies. That female human should stay here. We will use her to breed the next generation of this Pack. Only when she bears female offspring will she be allowed to return home.”"Did I hear them right?" I thought to myself, my heart racing with fear and anger. They wanted to use my body to breed their next generation of werewolves? Did they see me as nothing more than a vessel for their pleasure?I couldn't believe what I was hearing as I stood there, my body trembling with disgust. The Alpha and the Elder continued to talk as if I wasn't even there."A female human to breed werewolves," Alpha Thunder muttered. "If we do that, there will be half-breeds in our Packs.""But that's the only way for us to continue our generation, Alpha," Gregor explained. "And there's no problem with half-breeds. Time will pass, and soon, their children will be pure-blooded. And this female human is different. She has a s
