2. Like a good girl?

"Adeline, wait!"

Adeline halted as he heard a deep voice behind her. She had no desire to talk to him.

Maybe I should ignore his call and keep walking. Then he'll go away, she thought.

It wasn't like she intended to hate him from the beginning. She didn't even know she existed. It wasn't even until Tracy told her about him and what he did to her. She grew to detest him even before she met him. And when she saw him for the first time, her hatred only grew bigger.

At first glance, he was extremely good looking. He was tall, lean, and muscular with tanned skin and dark brown hair. And when he smiled at her, his piercing blue eyes twinkled with humor, and dimples teased his cheeks. His smile was dangerous enough to sweep any girl off their feet.

No wonder Tracy fell for that, Adeline thought bitterly.

She yelped as she suddenly felt someone grabbing her arm and yanking toward them forcefully.

"Hey! Let go!" Adeline cried. "You can't just grab a girl like that," she hissed.

"I can, and I did. What the hell is your problem? Why are you avoiding me?" Damien asked. He looked more curious than angry.

"I don't want to breathe the same air as you, that's why. Now let go. I have to go to lunch," Adeline tried to pull her arm free, but his grip was strong.

"Good, it's my lunchtime too, so you're coming with me," Damien announced and pulled her away from the cafeteria.

"Hey! Stop it! I don't want to go with you," Adeline protested and tried to stay in place. There was no way she'd go with him.

Damien paused and stared at her intently, still not letting go of her arm. "Alright then, since you aren't going to walk with me, you leave me no choice," he said gruffly.

"What do you mean walk..."

He suddenly grabbed her waist and picked her up, then threw her on his shoulder like a sack of rice.

No way...

She thought in disbelief as he carried her somewhere. He was kidnapping her in front of students at the cafeteria. Someone will come to her rescue, right?

No one did. Some of the students glanced in their direction and went back to their food like it was nothing. What the hell was wrong with these kids?

"Put me down, you imbecile! What do you think you're doing?" Adeline flailed around and punched his back, but all she did was hurt her own knuckles while he kept walking like he didn't feel a thing.

"I am carrying you outside since you refused to walk with me like a good girl," Damien remarked.

"Like a good girl? Who do you think you are?" Adeline cried.

"Damien Sky, at your service. Now shut up until we reach our destination. We are going right outside, inside the school perimeter, so no need to cry bloody murder. I'm not going to hurt you," he said.

He didn't lie when he said they weren't going far. He put her down right behind the school cafeteria building. A single table stood on the ground. It was quiet, away from the school crowd.

He put her down on top of the table and leaned forward to look into her eye. "Told you I wasn't kidnapping you. See? We are right outside," he smiled.

"Fuck you. This is still kidnapping, jackass," Adeline sneered. She could hardly contain her anger. She wanted to scratch his pretty face.

"Alright, I used force. Only because you refuse to talk to me," he declared.

"I am not obligated to talk to you," she said.

"I get that, but there must be a reason why you hate me so much. As far as I know, today's your first day here. Have we met before? Did I do something to you?" Damien asked. He looked genuinely confused, so Adeline decided to reveal the truth.

"Remember Tracy Smith?"

"Err...who?" Damien looked genuinely confused.

"TRACY! She was a freshman last year when you were a junior. Tall, blond, curvy with big brown eyes?" Adeline cried.

"Tracy, Tracy, Freshmen....oh!" Damien's eyes brightened at the recollection. "Tracy with giant boobs?" he chuckled.

"You're disgusting, but yes. That Tracy," Adeline said irritably.

"What about her?" he asked.

"She is my cousin, and you screwed her over!" she glared at him.

"More like screwed her, and she loved it," Damien smirked.

"Stop being an asshole!" Adeline pushed him, but he didn't budge. "What about Tracy?" Damien asked.

"She is my cousin! You slept with her and then ignored her right away. Don't you care about her feelings at all?" Adeline groaned. Damien looked like he had no remorse. This conversation was not going well.

"Tracy should've known what she was getting into. Everyone knows I don't do relationships, so if I sleep with a girl, it's a one-time thing," he said nonchalantly, making her blood boil.

"She was a virgin," Adeline tried to get through to him. Tracy is like a sister to her. At first, she didn't tell anyone about Damien. She stayed in her room all day and cried silently. Her mother called Adeline in an attempt to cheer her up. When Adeline came inside Tracy's room to check on her, she was shocked. Her room was a mess, and she looked like she hadn't slept for days. All because of some guy.

"She had to change school because of you. You made her fall into depression," Adeline insisted.

"I didn't make her do shit. Jeez...chicks are so dramatic. It wasn't like I raped her or anything. She was more than willing to get a taste of Damien Skye, and I figured, why the fuck not? And now she wants me to date her just because? Fuck that noise," Damien declared. He was starting to sound angry, but Adeline ignored it.

"You should've walked away when you found out she was a virgin. Why won't you be with her anyway?" she asked him.

"She is not my type," he replied.

Not his type? He just wanted to use her. Adeline thought, and anger bubbled inside her.

"Tracy is beautiful," she said.

"Sure. That doesn't change the fact that I only wanted her body. She was just like any other girl. A toy I can play with. And when I am done, it's time to go," Damien said and smiled cruelly.

Adeline couldn't handle it anymore and let her anger get the best of her. She raised her hand and swung at his disgusting dimpled face.
