I gulped in harsh intakes of air, breathing him in with every inhale. I recognized him before opening my eyes. His thumb swept over my cheeks
My eyes snapped open. His blue eyes were looking down at me with concern. I wasn't expecting after our argument and how did we get married. I wanted to apologize. But that would show me weak and give him more opportunities to blame things on me. Though, my heart said, he wouldn't do it. But I didn't want to take the risk. He commended situations and ruled everything that came his way.
"Why are you crying, Angel?" His voice was smooth, suave, his blue gaze looking deep into me.
