CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

After my day full of meetings, Caleb treat me in a fancy restaurant.

We’re currently dating when someone called him and he’s still talking to that person.

“What’s taking him so long?” I asked myself bored, when someone sits in front of me, where Caleb’s sitting earlier.

“Looks like your date ditch you,” he said with a smirk. I scoffed. “Eh? He’s just talking to someone, emergency you know.” I said, defending Caleb.

“Hm. But I saw you waiting for him like...” he stopped and looked at his wrist watch. “Like 30 minutes already.”

What he said was real. I’ve been sitting and waiting for Caleb for like 30 minutes, just like this man said.
