Chapter Forty-Nine

"Are you sure about this, Tatiana?" Almira asked. I nodded and looked back at the casa. I told them that I'm moving in with Caleb to his house in Manila. They wanted to make sure that I was not forced to move in with Caleb.

"Are you sure? Are you sure it was your decision and not because of your son?" Alexander asked.

I looked at them flatly. "Really? You are asking me if this is my genuine decision and not because of my son?" I said, "Why are y'all speaking like not parents? Of course, I'm doing this because of my son, and partly my own decision." I assured.

They nodded. "Hm, okay. We just want what's best for you, Tatiana." Alvin said and hugged me. "Don't hesitate to call me if things go south, okay? I'm always ready to back-up." He joked and we both chuckled.
