111. Trap

Virginia visited the hospital again to see her husband. She kept on waiting but yet Gerald was still lying down on his same bed every day. She missed her husband that she could not hold her sadness anymore. She shared a lot about what has happened lately to Gerald even though he could not hear Virginia’s chatter. She promised that she would do her best to fix all the bad things inside the family clan.

“Gerald, please stay strong, you must stay strong! You are the reason for me to keep living on. Until the day you finally come back to me, I will make everything work well.” Virginia grabbed on her husband’s hand. She kissed the hand and wished for his recovery.

“My apologize, Lady Virginia… I could not do something to help you out.” Harold apologized. He has been staying close with his boss and never went away from Gerald.

“It’s alright Harold. I will count on you to keep my husband safe.” Virginia smiled. She did not want the loyal bodyguard to feel bad with his current situation.
