90. False Hope

The next morning, Virginia found herself in the presence of the two teenage daughters of the old couple. With a gentle smile, she greeted them, trying her best to maintain her facade of memory loss. The girls, brimming with curiosity, began firing questions at her with unwavering enthusiasm.

"Hey, who are you? Are you friend of Mama and Papa?” asked one of them out of the blue.
