Chapter 31

Kelly woke up earlier than before, she took the first bus heading into the city. She made sure to wear a mask and had her hair covered thoroughly. She was not taking the chances of anyone getting to know her. They were in the heart of Winter and having people dressed as her was not uncommon, the ride to the back as long as she took the bus. When she got up she made sure to hurry to the bank with no branches. Kelly had called her bank manager ahead of time and as soon as she walked in, she was let into a private room.

“Why do you want to close the account?” her bank manager asked with a sad face. He was familiar with the only saga Kelly was caught up in but it was not his place to mention it, at least not while he was on duty. “I need the money, '' Kelly murmurs. She was having a difficult time breathing but she dared not release herself from the hold of clothes she wrapped herself in.”Now can I count and sign the necessary documents?” Kelly asked to pull out a seat for herself which
