“What took you so long?” Samantha asks the second I enter my office and she steps from behind my desk smiling smugly as she makes her way over toward me as if my wife hadn’t just walked in on us. Ignoring her I walk over toward my desk. “By the look on your face I trust that your wife didn’t take the news too well. Poor thing having to find out how disposable she is so soon after trapping you into your doomed marriage it really is such a shame. Although its best she learns her place sooner rather than later.”

“Kat please have someone from security sent up to escort Ms. Boise to her car.”

“Gio how sweet, but you don’t need to have anyone escort me to my car I’m not afraid of her trying to get revenge on me. I’m more than capable of handling myself against her.”

“It isn’t to protect you against her I want to ensure that you have no more disillusions of us ever being together, I’m also sure it goes without saying that our business regarding the merger is null in void.”
