Chapter Forty Three
Standing before Danica was no longer a woman who was pissed, instead stood a massive grey wolf that was eyeing her hungrily. It snarled and snapped showing its teeth to try to make her back down, but it had another thing coming.
Smiling Danica motioned for the wolf to come at her. Even though this would be considered a dangerous situation, Danica wasn't afraid and therefore the dark being within hadn't bothered to stir, instead leaving this to Danica.
Obliging the grey wolf ran forward howling as it jumped and extended its claws. Lifting her hands Danica grabbed the wolf by its fur and heaved throwing it to the side. The people standing around hollered appreciatively as the wolf stood up shaking its head before facing Danica again.
"Still not going to stop?" Danica asked sighing, "Alright, lets continue then."

Arlo didn't bother looking up as Danica and Mason closed the distance between the office door and his desk. He was busy scribbling something on a piece of parchment in front of him with a frown deeply etched on his face. Letting out a curse Mason moved forward leaving Danica behind as he and his pack mates engaged with the group of abaasy that had begun to attack. Not wanting to stand around and not help Danica ran towards the closest abaasy she could find as she felt the dark being beginning to stir within her.'Wanna help?' Jumping up Danica frantically looked around the room trying to locate Martha. Even though her rational brain understood that Martha was gone, the other part was convinced that she had just disappeared and reappeared in a different location."MARTHA!" Danica screamed urgently searching the room. "MARTHA THIS ISN'T FUNNY!"Danica's vision was blurred from all the tears that were falling and her heart felt like a ton of needles were stabbing into it one after another. To her Martha was the only family she had known since losing her parents, and in a way she had been much more of a parent. She just couldn't believe that Martha was gone, there was no way she could be gone.As she continued to search Danica could feel the dark being emerging within her once more and it was livid.It seemed that the loss of Martha had hit the being hard as well and now with the curse gone there was nothing holding the being's full force back.&
