Chapter Sixty Four
"They're disappearing." Danica murmurred.
As Mason and Dr. Williams continued to speculate back and forth the translucent swirls all over Danica's skin had slowly started to disappear and were now nonexistent.
"What?" Mason asked turning his attention to Danica. "What did you say?"
"They're gone." Danica repeated holding up an arm to show Mason and Dr. Williams. "They disappeared while you two spent your time bickering."
Seeming to not fully believe Danica, Dr. Williams moved forward grabbing hold of her arm and examining it. As he did so his brows furrowed as a look of utter confusion formed on his face. Releasing her arm the doctor locked his gaze with Danica's.
"Did you feel anything strange when they formed?" He asked now seeming to be deep in thought.
"Strange?" Danica asked cocking her head to the side. "What do you mean by odd?"

With each passing minute the effects of the wolfs bane intensified until Danica felt as if her entire body was on fire. The room around laughed and cheered as she became unable to hold back her screams of pain. As Danica worked to collect herself Marie moved towards her once more, the look of bloodlust was obvious on her face as she eyed Danica."Why come after me if your problem is with everyone?" 'Danica...' the soft voice drifted into Danica's mind as she hovered between awake and unconcious. 'Please....' Danica bolted as quickly as her injured leg would allow her down the brightly lit hallway looking here and there for a room to sneak into in an attempt to throw Marie. "I'm going to be a mom?" Danica asked not sure if she had heard the doctor correctly.
