MIA POV

Finally, my day of reckoning was here! Just when I was beginning to lose hope, Jack showed up just like he always did. He was like the sunlight in a dark room, always at the end of the corner waiting for you to crawl out. I pressed the phone to my ear and jumped down from the bed in excitement.
