I kept chanting hasbinallahu wa ni'imal wakeel. I know by now my face is all over the news. I heard the sound of my phone which had been continuously ringing for the past 5 minutes but knowing exactly what the call is about, I decided not to pick.

"Assalamu Alaikum mo-" before I could finish my greetings she caught me off.

"I'm really disappointed in you, this is not how I brought you up" before I could utter another word the line went dead.

I felt my throat tightening up. My body became weak, I slouched down on the floor not believing my ears.
