Truly Ridiculous

Whether the alcohol was too potent or her sullen mood, Ashlyn found herself becoming drunk. She was in a daze as she walked through the empty streets. Her body swayed.

She had no clue how many bottles of drinks she had finished up until now, but she was sure this wasn't enough.

Her senses were sort of dulled, and as a result, her reactions were slowed. That's why, she failed to notice the presence sneaking up on her from the back.

The next instant a claws pierced through her back, bringing about a burning pain. Ashlyn was caught off guard by the sudden attack.

But before it could turn fatal for her, she reacted in time and grabbed on to the hand before pulling out the claws. She kicked the growling rogue down and snapped the rogue's neck softly following that, taking away his life.
