Chapter Fifty Five

The last thing I want to do right now is mess things up, so I really can't take that chance. I thought as I took a deep breath, with my eyes closed, as I tried to go back to bed.

Just then my alarm rang again, and I frowned immediately. I thought I had actually turned it off, but now I know I didn't. I slowly stood up, and moved towards it, and finally turned it off for good.

"I hate alarms, and I'm never going to use them again." I said, to no one in particular, as I went back to bed.

The morning sun was shining into my room, and I quickly opened my eyes when I felt the warmth against my eyes' lid.

I turned over to my window and saw my cotton was open. "How come I didn't cover them before going to bed last night?" I asked myself,as I put my finger on my lips.

I stood up finally and was about to walk over to the bathroom, when I heard a knock on my room door. I gasped knowing it was the cook.

"Oh my goodness, I can't believe I overslept." I said, out loud.
