Chapter Twenty Eight

HUNTER'S POV

I followed this lady as she walked ahead of me into the dark night. I wondered where exactly she was leading me to. But I just followed her since she said so.

"Charlotte," I heard her say.

"Huh?" I asked, looking right at her.

She turned her back, still walking ahead. "Charlotte is my name, Alpha," She introduced herself.

I hummed, now knowing her name. "So, where are we going to Charlotte?" I asked her finally. Didn't want to stay quiet any more.

I heard her giggle, before looking back again and smiling at me. I couldn't help but feel strange at that smile of hers.

"You don't have to worry Alpha. I'm not an enemy. I just want to show you something," She said, walking pass a tree.
