Ariana's POV; I groaned as I slid down to the bathroom floor. I heard him slam the door when he left my bedroom, I did not want a fight but here we were again. I was tired. I walked into a small but very tasteful looking cafe not so far from the villa along the busy streets of LA. I sat, looking around the finely furnished place which had only just a few customers waiting around for their orders. Miguel had gone to get me my order even when I insisted that he did not have to. Damien's POV; Her words had a way of getting to me and she obviously did not how much they did. We were not in a real relationship but I did not expect her to kick my words to the curb just like that. Those words let me know how she truly felt about me and I did not even understand why they bothered me so much. Ariana's POV; I rolled my shoulders and my neck to ease the aches. I had spent a large part of my day bent over my desk, sorting through several files. I was home now but I was so tired. I still had to sort through some more files and make some calculations on my laptop. My work load had significantly increased over the last few weeks but I could understand why. Finances are a major part of any business and financial records could not be toyed with. I put my laptop aside and decided it was time to rest. "I'm afraid you might be causing a little bit of a scene over here, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." He said with a stern face. Everyone outside gasped and soon started murmuring in distaste. "You're in charge?" Damien asked. "Yes, as a matter of fact, I am." The departmental head said with his chin held up. He was newly appointed and he had been such a pain ever since. "Good. I'd like to know why you had it in you to overburden my wife with an excessive workload that has her staying in the office for much later than usual." Ariana's POV; I was getting ready to leave the office at about five in the evening. The whole rowdiness had died down after a while and things went back to normal in the office. I had done my work and finished up well with no extra, thankfully. It was a breath of fresh of air now that I was free of Levi and his bossiness and the fact that Damien went out of his way to help me truly warmed my heart. He isn't so bad after all huh? After the sumptuous and very eventful dinner, Damien and I headed up to our rooms. Just when I was about getting into my room, he pulled me towards him. I fell into his chest while he held me close and steadied me in his arms. "There's something I want to talk to you about, can you come in here later?" He said pointing his thumb towards his room. "Uh sure. I'll just go change into my pajamas." I said and he nodded before releasing me. I pushed my door open and got into my room. I picked up my phone and saw that my dad had seen my message and replied. I put a call across to him then I put the phone on loud speaker before placing it on the closet's island while I changed out of my clothes. "Miel." He said as soon as he picked up. (Honey.) Damien's POV; I watched her sleep. She looked so peaceful and so cute too, dare I say, angelic. I moved a strand of hair out of her face as I watched her sigh in her sleep. I really wanted to kiss her so bad but I could not. I had to respect her wishes, she did not want me touching her so I had to keep my hands to myself. I was going to take Aiden's advice to try to win her over and eventually confess that I had feelings for her, so I was going to start by getting to know her better and maybe opening up on a few things about myself if she asked.
