Third Person POV; Tracy marched up into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her. She grunted loudly as she stomped around the room, throwing a fit for absolutely no reason. She had tried working with Aiden some time back but no one had let her. For reasons she could never understand, Damien did not agree to it. In her fit of rage, she decided to not head to her office like she had planned. No one would question her anyway since she was the boss. Ariana's POV; Four weeks on... I sat in my office speaking to Stephanie about some work stuff while I typed up some things on my computer. I had been working in Avilla Corp for about a month and it had been amazing. The workers here were friendly and so receptive. Unlike back in the house where I had some hostility from Tracy, there was nothing as such here, thankfully. Damien had been away for weeks and we never communicated while he was away. I felt at peace in his absence and the fact that I was working saved me from the prying questions of mom and ma Rosa concerning our relationship. I knocked and waited for a while but I did not hear an answer. Out of curiosity, I twisted the door knob and walked in and for the first time in about a month, I was going into this black and white themed bedroom. I stood frozen on the spot watching as he thrashed all over the bed, talking in his sleep. Damien was having a nightmare and he looked like he was fighting for his life in it. My chest heaved up and down in panic. I did not know what to do. My mind was spiralling out of control and when it gave way to the thought of him dying in his sleep with me present, I almost lost it. My over thinking skills always did the most. I eventually snapped out of my daze and decided it was best to wake him up. I tapped him slightly but silly me, I should have known that would not work. With all my might, I shook him as hard as I could and eventually slapped him very hard on the face, it was a bizarre move but it did the trick. His eyes came open and he looked absolutely terrified. He was soaked in sweat and was shivering like he had been locked in ice for a long time. His fright was infectious but I just had to steady myself with my emotions and not give anything away. I ironed out the creases on my blush pink form hugging corporate dress with puffy sleeves. The makeup artist had come and gone after giving me a bold look with a cat eye, matte lipstick and pale pink eye shadow. I loved it. My hair was straightened out and my edges were finely laid. Yes, we were heading for an interview to clear the air concerning the chaos that had been going on since two days ago. The PR team came and brushed us-specifically me- through about how to answer questions thrown at us. Damien had told me about the interview while we were in bed the other night. I was relieved when he slept without any nightmares haunting him. Last night, I slept in his room, it was almost like it was a routine to choose between our rooms every night. It was cute and I smiled whenever I thought about it. We were sort of making progress after all. Aiden gave me a few days off so everything could die down and I was so grateful. I could not imagine myself leaving for work anytime soon.
