Chapter Sixteen

Ariana's POV;

"And this is the last spot, what do you think?"

That was Marissa.

I had spent about a week in Los Angeles at the time and I still had not seen Damien.

We had been out all day searching for a suitable reception venue. One that would be somewhat close to the church where we would exchange vows. We had a church in mind but Damien and I had to meet the Reverend first.

I stood in the middle of the grand ballroom.

"I'm not feeling it." I said after a while.

I truly wasn't. The hall could take up a large number of guests, it had bright chandeliers, it was everything any bride would wish for but I still was not feeling it.

"What's wrong Ariana? Are you getting cold feet?" She asked concernedly, placing her palm on my shoulder comfortingly.

I exhaled. How was I supposed to say that I did not want this marriage but I didn't have a choice in it? There was nothing I could say to her. I shook my head at her, swallowing the lump that had formed in my throat, I asked;

Dear writer I have been reading this beautiful story,and some how it's been a problem getting the chapters and it remains on chapter 16.I was under the impression that it is free reading especially as I am a pensioner and don't have money to pay
