I sat up on my bed and looked around the room. His side of the bed was untouched. There was hardly any sign of him being present all through the night. I stared up at the tall building as I got down from the vehicle. The ride took about fourty five minutes from the house so it was quite a distance, it was a good thing I left quite early. I walked in and said hello to the receptionist at the lobby who responded with a warm smile. I informed her about my reason for being there and she directed me to take a seat. There was not a lot of people seated, just about five of them so I guessed I still had a good chance. Damien's POV; I stared down at her crying self in my arms. She looked so vulnerable as she sobbed heavily with her chest heaving up and down. Her make up had smeared my white shirt but I did not care about it. I just hated watching her cry. An iota of guilt seeped into me at the realization that I was the cause of her pain.
