Chapter 47

Rose's unconscious body layed on the bed. She was looking fragile with her face pale as sheet and eyes close. Her hairs were scattered over the pillow. 

Zachariah checked her temperature with his hand. The fever was still there but it was lesser than before, though she was still burning high which had him concerned.

"Any improvement?" Vladimir asked, his tone was filled with concern for his mate. His eyes stayed rooted on his fragile mate who still unconscious, lying on the bed. 

"No." Zachariah answered through gritted teeths. His baby was suffering and he was not able to do anything about it. Being the King, he had every power in the earth but he can't even make his mate alright. 

Vladimir sighed as he sat on the couch with a defeated look on his face. Fuck! He was the King of the world and here he can't do anything for his mate. She is suffering and all he can do is watch her bear t
