The loud chirping of birds and the warm ray seeping through the windows to the room caught her face, causing her to wake up.
She stayed silently for a while before turning to look at her side. It was empty.
She got up to the washroom, living room and finally the kitchen but he wasn't there. It was only when her eyes hit the clock that she was assured that he left.
She walked back to the bedroom and laid down at the side he slept on. His exotic perfume and scent filled her nostrils and enveloped her. She felt as if he was still right there. Even the pillows smell of him, his aftershave, and hair cream. She loved every bit of it.
