Wilhelm placed a hand on his shoulders to stop him. "It's okay. Your girl got my back anyway." He focused his eyes on her through the window. It wasn't a tinted one so he could still see her, see her chest rising and falling forlornly.

"She was the only one. I'm sorry."

"Please stop. You're going to embarrass me."

"Do you…. perhaps like her?" Dennis asked slowly and hesitantly.

Wilhelm looked him straight in the eyes and pursed his lips. He raised his brows towards her. "She can't sit that way for long. She needs to lie down so I think you should get going."

Dennis looked back at her and nodded.
