Chapter 30
She waves her hand across his face. Did it again and again and when she was sure that indeed he was asleep, she sighed and for some odd reason, waited to stare at him as he snored quietly.
She studied all the contours of his face without interruption or he grumbling about not liking to be looked at. Somehow, it soothed her nerves after what happened in the hall.
Deciding to stay up so that he could sleep, she went to pick her laptop to write a review on a high school book she read.
Then she bought new ones on Amazon and jumped into one whose title and cover captivated her at glance.
Hours into reading, she noticed him beginning to stir. He picked a pillow and hugged it close.
Thinking that he might be feeling cold, she got up to close the windows and put off the air conditioner.

Maybe it was good that he left after all. She can finally dress or undress without having to look over her shoulders or hide in the bathroom to get things done.Her body was still pouring out steam when she came out of the washroom but the moment the wind blew, welcoming her into London weather, she wished she had closed the windows.She closed them and rolled the curtains over. She then dropped her towel and walked naked across the room to the dresser.Hell, it feels good to walk about freely.Destiny picked a thin silky singlet top and its matching shorts that barely covered her round ass.She applied a face cream then brushed her blonde hair and held it in a bun.Suddenly, the door opened, and thinking it was Wilhelm, she spoke."Where have your manners gone, Mr. Grey? You can't just barge in? What if I was naked?"She waited for his usual sarcastic smug reply but none came.

Even the gentlest knock by the door sent her flying out of her wits like a scared cat. Knowing who it might be, she exhaled before opening the door.It didn't help. He questioned, eyes searching her face.She dropped her gaze as her cheeks flushed."Have you been stalking me Destiny Blackmore.""No!""Then how the fuck did you know who I was with last night?""I came to look for you but then I heard voices." When she got to the parking lot, she motioned for the valet to throw her the key. She caught it and hopped into the Porsche car.There was only one place in mind and she has been to similar ones already but nothing like being in Paris and not going there.This time is different. There was more to her visit to Pointes des Arts.She parked the car and leaned back in the seat. Her heart thud as the memories of being here at a time basked her mind. She took a deep breath and got out.As usual, the bridge never ran out of tourists and lovesick couples who are unintentionally literally tearing the bridge down with their unfortunate relationships.
