Chapter 40: Blast

I was feeding my mate Lora as she was trying to shy away from eating and Drax was in talk with Levi when I heard a glass break. Before I knew it, we were all flying through the air and my instincts were to cover Lora, I felt projectiles in my back and Lora was screaming before everything went black. I opened my eyes as I could feel the heat in the room, it was on fire, I linked Toffe who appeared and looked horrified. His eyes glowed as the fire was out of the room, he looked at me and rushed over to Ty, who was dead, he had a hard piece of the table in his chest, Toffe removed it and waited for Ty to wake up. I was groggy and checked on Drax whose left leg was broken and a few of his ribs poked through his chest before I saw his body healing itself so I knew he was on the verge of waking up. Lora was unconscious, I shielded her with my body but she was knocked out by the blast, Emile's doctors ran into the room and one of them took Lora to the hospital wing.
