Take Over

[Massimo’s POV]

I sit together with Giovani at a round table while taking in the remaining leaders of Hunters Moon. Despite their attempts at looking tough earlier on when we killed their alpha, they all looked terrified now.

“Good evening." Giovani grins, taking the lead. “We appreciate you gathering here with us.”

“Like we had a choice,” a man with piercing blue eyes and a long scar marring his face growls. “What the hell do you want?”

“Isn’t it obvious?” I ask, joining the conversation. “We want that which your heir wants.”

In the end, all of this was to get back at Knight for interfering again and again. I could only hope that he would blame himself for what was to come of his pack.
