Declan's face was cold, expressionless when he saw the police officers dismembered their own arms. The blood seemed to have dyed the floor red with a strong fishy smell. Irena and the other colleagues did not expect this scene to happen at their workplace. She guessed right; Declan didn't kill them, but making them live was worse than death.

Having settled everything here, Declan did not go to the hospital but returned to the family mansion. It was pouring rain outside; the car slowly entered the yard and stopped in front of the big door.
