He pushed Paxton down on the ground. From the information he said, it made him furious. If they were heroes and loyal to the Empire, they wouldn’t betray them and the Empire would protect them.

“Say it again?”

“What I am saying was based on the data gathered. Your parents died in the hands of her family.” Paxton didn’t react much as he stayed composed. What he said was based on the data gathered but seeing how furious he was must only mean that Bella or Bellatrix meant something more to him.

“You can say that it was a lie. You as the King, will prove it.” He pushed the King’s hands off him as he fixed his coat. “Her family was massacred the moment yours were. You nearly died and the scar on her chest only means that half of her soul was broken.”

“She was distant and like an empty shell,” Dominick grumbled as Paxton nodded. He turned around to the big house. It was half burnt and upon entering, he could smell more of the chrysanthemum.
