Chapter 009

Leah raised her hands to knock once more when she noticed she wasn't alone.

She looked up in surprise to see Lexa staring back at her but she looked at her with rage and hatred and many other emotions.

For a moment, Leah felt like she had done something she was never supposed to do.

"So it's true?" Lexa opened up, a tear rolling down her cheeks.

"What's true?" Leah asked approaching Lexa but she backed off with disgust.

"Even if everyone believed you were not worthy to be the alpha's daughter, I had always felt you were perfect but it turns out you really did become the monster's whore! How could you? How could you bed the same man who took the lives of your father and our people-"

"Lexa..." Leah wanted to explain that it wasn't what it seems. She wanted to explain that it was just what she must sacrifice in order for the others to live.

But from the corner of her eyes, she sighted Greg and hesitated. He had his hand folded watching the drama unfold.
