Chapter 110: Her Diagnosis

“So I spoke with the doctor and he's said she has to spend some days her and she has to be under observations.” Max said, walking into the room where I sat, holding Ariel in my arms.

“She's not gonna get worse, is she? Tell me she's gonna be alright.” I whispered, looking into his eyes.

“We have nothing to fear about her health, she's gonna be okay.” He replied, kissing my forehead.

“Have your rest, I'm gonna get some fresh air and check the bills.” As he walked out, I sighed and closed my eyes, wrapping Ariel in my arms.

The next morning, I left the hospital in a haste to get a few things from the house. As soon as I stepped in, I recalled what happened the day before. How Ariel startled me, her silly questions to Max and her silly statement about my car.

I walked into my bedroom and retrieved a carry bag before sliding the drawers open. I needed to get a few things for Ariel and for myself because I don't plan on leaving her side for one bit.
