Chapter 30

Brooke's pov

I can't believe I just killed someone to get respect from the gang my hands were shaking and I felt like a complete asshole.

We went to what I assume was Martin's office he close the door behind me, "I'm sorry you had to fight and kill today baby," he said taking me in his arms.

"How do you do it?" I asked as a sob escape my lips

"The first time isn't easy your first kill will always be with you no matter what you do," he says rubbing my back.

"How didn't I notice that you are in the mafia? I have never met some of your men our house is always empty no one ever comes around," I whisper.

"Because I waited for the right time like I said and I told my people not to come around while you are there I have been here most of my time during the day and some of the business trips I took were missions I went on," he said surprising me.

"Wow, you did make sure I won't find out until the time is right," I chuckle lightly.
