Ace sat at the small table in the safe house, his eyes fixed on the screen of his laptop. He was waiting for a message from his spy, who had been tracking the movements of Axel.

Unlike the blue crest city, the Asian dynasty was already living in the global works where phones and laptops were called common gadgets.

Finally, the message came through, and Ace's heart sank as he read the words. "Axel has killed people in Amy's Father's kingdom, including Amy's Father himself. He is also attempting to forcefully marry Amy."

Ace's mind raced as he tried to process the news. He had promised Amy that he would protect her at all costs. But now, it seemed that he had failed in that promise but he was not willing to wallow in that failure.

Without a second thought, Ace jumped up from his chair and began to pack his things. He knew he had to act fast if he wanted to save Amy and put an end to Axel's reign of terror once and for all.
