Ever since the elders' request, Aria had been spending more time with Prince Zane. She had been missing Lady Brunhilda's lessons just to show her dedication to the mission that was given to her.

"why do I feel as though what I'm doing bores you." Prince Zane asks. Aidan was reading a document to him while Aria stared at a plain wall. "if you want I can call for that maid of yours to come and keep you company.

"no!" Aria shouted quickly even though, that was what she wanted. Erika always had a nice tale to tell her whenever she was bored. although Erika's tale was always about the latest gossip in the palace, even though Aria did not know who was involved, she always found the story entertaining. "I'm not bored, trust me."

Aidan gave Aria a look that said that no one was convinced and to top it off, Prince Zane could tell that she was lying. Aria keeps forgetting that with him, there is no way to lie.
