"My lady. Wake up, my lady."

I groan as I grudgingly opened my eyes to look at Erika. She was smiling brightly at me. What was that smile all about? The little happiness I was starting to have in Esterial would be gone very soon.

"Why are you all smiley," I asked Erika. It was kind of irritating that she was happy while I'm not.

"I'm just happy that you slept well, my lady." There was a tease in her voice.
