"Hey mom"

"You are done talking to him? That was fast" she said, turning her head to look at me and smiled.

"Mmm, it wasn't much. Plus, I can't leave only you here. I need to be fast and come back as soon as I can" I answered. "So, are you done looking at the pictures?" I added as I move closer to her and take a sit beside her.

"Well, almost. And this picture, when did you take them?" It's the picture I took during 6th grade. I took first place in class and Dad was so happy and proud of me so, he took me out to get me thongs just to make me happy.

"In my sixth grade." I answered, shortly.

"I'm so sorry, Alice." She suddenly apologize and turned to face me as she hold my hand in hers.

"Mom, what are you doing?"

"I'm sorry for not being there for you all this while. You know, looking at all your pictures now made me realize how distant I've been with you "
